HDC Galaxy Note 2 N9599: Specs Review - 5.8-inch Quad Core

Overview: The HDC Galaxy Note 2 N9599 is a 5.8-inch MTK6589 quad-core, dual SIM phone running the latest Android 4.2.1 JellyBean. Price is just $215, free shipping.

The HDC Galaxy Note 2 N9599 might be an upgrade to its predecessor, the HDC Galaxy Note 2 N9589. We can say by following the naming convention of these HDC Galaxy phones. The previous is already a beast phone in it, but this new N9599 seems more promising.

The HDC Galaxy Note 2 N9599 runs on the latest Android 4.2.1 JellyBean OS out of the box. It supports multiple languages. It has a MTK6589 Quad Core processor that is clocked at 1.2GHz. The CPU is so powerful, and matched with a powerful GPU (PowerVR SGX544T); you'll enjoy HD games and HQ movies on the fly. Google Play Store comes pre-installed with the device.

The phablet is slated in a 5.8 inches of HD screen (1280x720 pixels resolution), and with IPS technology so every viewing angles are good. The screen have 253ppi, which it makes a really clear and vivid display quality for our eyes. The screen is capacitive, and multi-touch as well.

The slate have 1GB of RAM for seamless multi-tasking, and easy handling of any apps or games. You wont need to think about saving your RAM. The built-in storage memory was set by the 4GB ROM which is still expandable with a micro-SD card of up to 64GB.

The HDC Galaxy Note 2 N9599 is equipped with an 8.0MP rear camera and a 4.9MP front-facing shooter. The main snapper also have LED flash, and digital zoom of course. The front-facing camera is an asset, normal phones just have 0.3MP on front which cannot produce good images quality, and so as with the other 1.3 or 2 megapixels front-facing cameras. So you'll have here a better video call transmission, and ability for 1080p recording on its main camera.

The phablet is a dual-SIM/dual standby Android, and it supports GSM + WCDMA. It will work on any carriers worldwide that supports the following network bands: GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz + WCDMA 850/2100MHz. It also have Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 b/g, USB 2.0,  and GPS/A-GPS (Built-in GPS chipset).

It is packed with a Li-on battery of 3600mAh capacity which you can expect more performance, in terms of usage time of the device from a single charging. The phablet could last you about 150-200 hours of standby time. When you buy this from our suggested link, you'll get 2 batteries in the package. It never hurts to have a spare one.

So far, it seems like it is the best Galaxy Note 2 clone out there. There is a pen and a pen-slot, just like the real Samsung Note 2's S-Pen feature.
