HDC Butterfly - Specs Review: 5-inch MT6589 Quad Core HTC clone!

Here's an HTC clone, brought to us by HDC, the HDC Butterfly. Its basically a knock-off version of the famous HTC Butterfly. This clone sports an MTK6589 Quad Core processor, 1GB of RAM, 5.0-inch HD IPS OGS screen and runs on Android 4.1.2 JellyBean.

The HDC Butterfly is equipped with the quad core MT6589 processor, clocked at 1.2GHz. It runs on the latest Android 4.1.2 JellyBean operating system out of the box. It has 1GB of RAM that allows you to do multi-tasking and memory-intensive apps to run smoothly and flawlessly. The built-in 8GB of internal ROM is a lot of space to grab as well.

It sports a 5.0 inches of HD display which uses IPS and OGS technology. One-Glass-Solution touch panel uses a single piece of glass as both cover lens and sensor substrate, its integrates the touch sensor into the cover lens in order to reduce the material cost, thickness and weight of the device. The IPS screen promises pleasant viewing at any angles, plus the 1280x720 pixels of resolution makes everything look crisp and vivid.

It has a 12 megapixels main snapper, with LED flash and auto-focus. Paired with that is a front shooter of 3.2MP in resolution. The device is housed at a  141.1*71.3*9.1mm body and weighs just 139g.

The HDC Butterfly is a single-SIM device, which has WCDMA support. It will work on all carriers worldwide, noting that its being connected under the supported frequencies, as follows: GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz + WCDMA 850/2100MHz.

It has EDGE, GPRS, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 b/g, USB 2.0, and GPS/A-GPS (Built-in GPS chipset) for the other connectivity functions. It has FM Radio, g-sensor, and the other necessary sensors for an Android device.

The HDC Butterfly is powered up with a Li-on battery of 2680 mAh in rated capacity. The big number ensures you more usage time of this phone on a single charge. It can last you more than 3 days depending on usage.
